The new M4 GT4s have been delivered to their owners at an exclusive event at BMW Welt in Munich. The model completed over 18,600 miles on the test track, countless hours in the wind tunnel and successful track outings in race conditions. This is the latest BMW Motorsport addition to be handed over to their European owners.

BMW Motorsport Director Jens Marquardt said “Today is a very special day for us. After intensive months of testing and development, the BMW M4 GT4 is now officially ready to race” and “I’m particularly pleased that we were able to deliver the first models to our customer teams at such an early stage.”

During the development phase, BMW Motorsport invited customer teams to assist. Teams from Schubert Motorsport, Walkenhorst Motorsport and Sorg Rennsport were involved, ensuring individual vehicles were built to meet their particular requirements. The new model was also tested by various BMW works drivers, junior drivers and customer racing drivers, which helped in creating a car that can handle driving in different conditions.

Early results have been positive, with BMW Motorsport Juniors Beitske Visser and Dennis Marschall both winning on the Circuit de Catalunya in Spain. The team at BMW is confident that the new BMW M4 GT4 will continue to provide excellent results wherever it races.
