The BMW i8 has two new styles, the limited edition Protonic Frozen Yellow and Protonic Frozen Black. These exclusive colours accentuate the BMW i8’s unmistakable design.

The Protonic Frozen Black Edition debuts at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Production begins in April 2017, with 35 units available in the UK. The Protonic Frozen Yellow Edition launches in August 2017 and is limited to just 15 units within the UK. BMW’s plug-in hybrid sports car just became even more exclusive.

The Harman/Kardon Surround Sound System offers a listening experience like no other. A digital DSP amplifier with a 360W output and individually selectable equaliser guarantees brilliant, top-quality sound from 11 finely tuned speakers.

Both models include special design details for a more personalised ride. Frozen Grey paintwork accents highlight the i8’s future-proof styling. You’ll find “i8” embossed on the front head restraints and the door sill strips bear the lettering “Protonic Frozen Black (or) Yellow Edition”.

The BMW i8 features an Amido Black BMW iSpheric full leather interior, with yellow contrast stitching around the dashboard and centre console. Black ceramic detailing is featured around the gear selector lever and central iDrive controller. The finishing touch to the cabin is the specially designed floor mats with leather piping and yellow stitching.

The BMW i8 boasts an estimated 49g/km C02 emission, a staggering 134.5 mpg (combined) fuel consumption and a 7% BIK rating. Along with generating 362hp and an impressive 0-62 mph in 4.4 seconds, the BMW i8 is one of the most powerful, progressive and eco-conscious super cars on the market.
