BMW M is setting fresh benchmarks in the compact high-performance sports car segment with the new BMW M2 Competition, adding a marked refinement to the character of the BMW M2 Coupé.

The BMW M2 Competition sprints from 0 to 62mph in just 4.2 seconds (with optional M DCT transmission)

Thanks to its 410hp and 550Nm torque, the new BMW M2 Competition is an exceptionally powerful coupé. The engine is powered by two MonoScroll turborchargers, thus meaning that the 3-litre inline 6-cylinder achieves similar performance to a V8 engine, with lower fuel consumption.

The BMW M2 Competition's engine is based on the power unity from the BMW M3 and BMW M4

Outside, the enlarged BMW kidney grille, side gills on the front wings and newly designed tailpipes are painted black. A dark M Competition badge graces the rear end of the vehicle, and a new design of the front skirt with modified air intake improves the visual presence of the car. In addition, the new BMW M2 Competition marks the debut for the exclusive new metallic Hockenheim Silver paint.

Inside, drivers are greeted by the M2 Competition logo on the dill plate. The optional M Sport seat and backrest boast black leather upholstery with design perforations, available in blue or orange. These touches of colour are also reflected in the leather stitching on seats, armrests and paddle covers while Alcantara leather covers the side bolsters.
